KEEP IT FOR LIFE
The care guide.
Real copper and brass are living materials. A little attention will keep your pieces in service — and in the family — for years.

GOOD TO KNOW
Everyday cleaning
Wash by hand with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. Avoid the dishwasher, harsh abrasives, steel wool, and prolonged soaking.
Polish or patina?
Natural oxidation deepens copper and brass over time. Let the patina develop if you love its warmth, or use a metal-safe polish and soft cloth to restore a brighter finish. Always follow your product’s specific care label.
Caring for kalai lining
Traditional kalai is a tin lining on the interior of certain copper or brass cookware. Use low to medium heat, never preheat empty, and choose wood or silicone utensils. Avoid scrubbing the lining and have it professionally re-tinned if it wears through. Do not cook acidic food against exposed copper.
Water vessels and spices
Refresh water daily and clean bottles or pitchers after use. Store spices tightly sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
